Once you buy a bike from Phillip McCallen Motorcycles, either new or pre-owned, you’re not just buying into a marque but you’re also joining a family of motorcyclists. It’s a large family with membership scattered across the world. And obviously what you have in common and unites you with other owners, apart from the name on the tank, is the fact that you’re a biker.
That’s why we at Phillip McCallen Motorcycles have set up our own, unique McCallen Riders. We already have Triumph Riders, Kawasaki Riders and KTM Riders, the three marques we represent. But as we also sell other makes, too, we don’t want the owners of these machines to feel there’s nothing for them and that’s why we have established McCallen Riders.
We want to hear from you about how you’re enjoying your machine and we want you to share with us and other bikers owners stories about your trips, your photographs, and action camera shots. It doesn’t matter whether you ride a small or a mid weight machine or a model in the 1,000cc plus category, you’re very welcome to McCallen Riders..
As motorcyclists we have a bond which unites us with other motorcyclists and it’s irrelevant if they’re on the same make of machine. It’s a bike and that’s the bond and that’s why we acknowledge each other as we pass. It’s a brotherhood.
Our McCallen Riders site allows you tell every other riders about your trips. It doesn’t matter if it’s only a Sunday run around the North Antrim Coast or to Fermanagh Lakeland, we want you to email us.
Longer trips, like a summer holiday spent touring in Europe – perhaps you stopped at the Nurburgring or even rode the famous 14 miles circuit – that’s of great interest to other riders.
To support your stories, we don’t need a novel, just a few paragraphs will do, you decide how much you want to write. We also ask for your photographs and action camera shots. You don’t have to spend a fortune on these cameras, look at our Motrax site for bargains.
We would encourage you to carry a camera/action camera because other owners will be interested in your experiences. Sometimes riders are a little reluctant to take that first trip on the Continent, your story and pictures may just be what they need to get them started on a great adventure of their own.
Motorcycling is about so many things. It’s freedom, enjoying the technical twists and turns of a mountain pass in the Alps like the Stelvio in Italy. It can be something as simple as sitting beside your bike in the garage after a run when you arrive back home and listening to it cool down. These are only a few of our thoughts. Please let us have yours by logging on to Riders Guide.
